Villa Vellaio known as "San Liberale"
Villa San Liberale is a Venetian Villa which hosts the Villa San Liberale B&B and is located near the medieval town of Feltre and the Dolomiti Bellunesi National Park.
Built in the 18th century, the Villa was extended and modified in the following centuries. The mansion includes a large central hall, displaying two rows of double columns with Ionic capitals.
The San Liberale oratory, encompassed by the large historical park, preserves a fresco by Giovanni De Min portraying the Virgin and Child.
During restoration, in 1746, the characteristic stucco decorations were added to the walls and lunettes. In the past, Villa San Liberale hosted prominent figures, such as the poets Arnaldo and Erminia Fusinato, as well as Giosuè Carducci.
Today, the mansion is open to visitors who can enjoy sophisticated accommodation, surrounded by history and the serenity of nature.
